  2. Please avoid alcohol, drugs and also non-prescription medication before any treatment.
  3. Should you have any questions in regards to your massage or treatment, please do not hesitate to ask our practitioner.

What can sometimes be experienced after a massage or a reflexology treatment?

Warning:
May enhance mood, may make an individual more positive, and may enhance mental clarity, energy levels, and endurance.

Because toxins are being released into the bloodstream, a short term fatigue can be a result. However, that usually subsides as soon as the body has flushed out the toxins.

In general, it is advisable to drink plenty of water after a massage or a reflexology session to support the detoxification and cleansing process and to replenish your body’s fluid balance.

Some people feel they have to clear their throat, as toxins or waste products from the respiratory system are being released.

Other effects or possible reactions a client may feel after a treatment may or may not include: emotional releases, feeling the need to urinate more often (short-term). It is also possible that existing health conditions, whether known or unknown, may appear to worsen for a very short period of time, before improving. This is a normal aspect of healing; this is also referred to as the ‘healing crisis’.
